Nothing to fear but fear itself

4dpiui

I awoke this morning gripped with fear masked as certainty that it didn’t work.

Maybe I’ll just get more cats and put bonnets and booties on them.

Last night an odd thing happened.  I came home and laid down on the floor in front of the TV.  WonderPuppy came into the room and started sniffing excitedly at my stomach.  On the left side where the follies were.  He briefly sniffed over to the right, but then came right back to the left and was wagging his tail extra fervently (truly a sight to behold!).  Later in the evening, Mary Perfect came over in all her 3rd month of pregnancy glory.  WonderPuppy COULD NOT STOP smelling her belly and loving on her.  Mr. JellyBeana saw this all too and mentioned it to me, so my crazy brain is not making this up.  Likely it means I had spilled some of my lunchtime nachos on the lower left side of my sweater, but I can’t be sure…

  1. Hey, dogs are super intuitive. All I’m sayin.

    Yay for WonderPuppy!!!

  2. Awesome. Fingers crossed that your pooch has sniffed out babyjellybeana moving on down the tube.

  3. My kitty started doing this weird sitting sniffing my tummy on bravelle

  4. You are too funny. I often joke about dressing my 60 pound lab mix in a diaper and bonnet if this whole baby thing doesn’t work out! 😛

On a serious note though, I have heard that animals are intuitive about those things. Keeping everything crossed for you!

  5. Hey, WonderPuppy just doesn’t have that name for the sake of having the name. He has super powers! 😉

  6. I think animals can sense stuff in a weird way we’ll never understand. Keeping fingers crossed for you!
